Here is an update. It looks like the turmoil between VMRS and GSPSS ended in good terms might have been for not. As PASS has announced a new "PASS North East Series" slated with three races this year. And a full schedule probably released in 2015.
The three races for this new series are as fallowed.
Oxford - June 13, 2014 - 100 Laps - $2,000 to win.
Oxford - July 19, 2014 - 125 Laps - $4,000/$3,000 to win.
Oxford - September 26, 27. - 100 Laps - $2,000 to win.
So far from what I can tell for a 100 Lap race this is what the purse would look like.
1st, $2,000, 2nd $1,200, 3rd $800, 4th $600, 5th $550, 6th $500, 7th $475, 8th $450, 9th 425, 10th $400, 11th $375, 12th $350, 13th $340, 14th $330, 15th $320, 16th $310, 17th-32nd $300
(= to $14,225)
So far from what I can tell for a 125 Lap race this is what the purse would look like.
1st, $4,000/$3,000, 2nd $2,000, 3rd $1,200, 4th $800, 5th $600, 6th $550, 7th $500, 8th $475, 9th 450, 10th $425, 11th $400, 12th $390, 13th $380, 14th $370, 15th $360, 16th $350, 17th $340, 18th $330, 19th $320,

ROC has revamped their website. And released their 2014 schedule along with it. 12 races but none in CT.
http://www.raceofchampions.net/That's all the updates for now. I could not go to the Speedbowl banquet because of personnel reasons. How was it? Did any teams not show up that you thought would have showed up? Did anyone get to see the 2014 schedule? Did anything interesting happen?
Like always. Do you guys have any thoughts or anything to add?
