True, But as a race fan hearing a Mod car go VROOM and hearing them go VROOM for 100 or more laps get's my butt in the seat. The bowl might not be able to get the WMT but they sure can talk to VMRS and ROC. ::shrugs::

I'm going to take a big guess here and think that you were a big supporter of Jerry Robinson and Steve Harraka.

"The 2012 Speedbowl event schedule is nearing completion. The season will begin with Blastoff 2012, a 14-division spectacle highlighted by a 100-lap race for the Valenti Modified Racing Series, 25-lap NEMA Midget race and special 62-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series SK Modified® feature commemorating the Speedbowl’s 62nd consecutive season opener. The event is tentatively slated for March 30, 31 and April 1, 2012. 26 additional NASCAR Whelen All-American Series events will follow, culminating with the annual Finale Weekend which is planned for October 5, 6 and 7. Six divisions will populate regular weekly racing series events. Leading the way for special events will be the 5th annual Wings & Wheels on August 11, 2012. The event once again will combine the ISMA Supermodifieds, NEMA Midgets, Valenti Modified Racing Series and NASCAR Whelen All-American Series SK Modifieds®. Full 2012 schedule details are expected to be announced in the coming weeks as touring series dates and details are locked in."

THE TC YOUR REFERRING TO IS JUST AS GOOD AS THE OTHER. THEIR BOTH VERY TALENTED DRIVERS. ITS JUST TEDDY HAS BEEN SUCH A BUTCHER THROUGH THE YEARS. I KNOW,...I'VE WATCHED HIM FOR MANY. EVEN HIS OWN BROTHER MIKE ADMITTED IT IN AN INTERVIEW I READ ONCE. ASK SOME OF THE GUYS HES PUT IN THE WALL WHAT THEY THINK. HES NOT AS BAD NOW AS HE USED TO BE BUT HE STILL USES THAT FRONT BUMPER EVERY NOW AND THEN. SHOVING OTHER CARS OUT OF YOUR WAY AND ROUGH RIDING TO GET BY SOMEONE IS NOT RACING.

As a race fan, I prefer all cars taking equal runs. Mods are cool an all but I much prefer the lower formulae, streets and minis. I say let the NWAAS cars all run 30-35 laps, start at 6:30 instead of 7, even though that brings in a whole lot of extra things to make it work.

Run a open mod show every few weeks too.

AS FAR AS SCOTT TAPLEY GOES,....HES CLEANED UP A LOT OF THE ROUGH RIDING AND OTHER THINGS THAT HAPPEN ON AND OFF THE TRACK. TOM FOX DID AS WELL WHEN HE RAN THINGS. BUT,....I DON'T AGREE WITH EVERY CALL EITHER ONE OF THEM HAVE MADE BUT THAT WILL HAPPEN WITH ANYONE. Well there is room for improvement thats for sure. I could care less who the the race directer is as far as name goes,as long as the job is handled fairly and consistantly across the board which just is not happening.

I would like to see some open tour-type races scheduled accordingly on MRS and WMT off weekends. key phrase being off weekends. The cars will come if they can. Offer a decent purse with a mini-point system. Also try a few wed/sat flips again for some Mod races. Nobody runs on a wednes night so therefore you get no schedule conflicts.

All regular divisons run same laps but sk's should go 40.

do what they want with the food i dont buy it anyway....lol do away with the only 1 re-entry rule. That drives me nuts,cant stand not being able to go to my car if i want to,if they are having problems in the parking lot then handle it in another way other than locking fans inside. Seekonk has a no re-entry policy but if you walk up and say hey can i go grab something from car they let you. You can back and forth all night long with a pit pass,grandstands should be the same. If you get in trouble for whatever reason,give em the boot.

Built in rain dates would be nice,instead of fly by day hope it dont rain and see what happens.

Oh yea 1 more thing...haha Once a driver wins a feature he can not start any higher than 5th. A guy winning 10 races a year should not be given a pole shot. Also if you win week 1 start in last handi-cap postion if a qualifying position is achieved in heat or dead last if have a bad run in heat week 2 and so on. Time trial day if a previous winner sets fast time just invert top 10. No draws or heads up start. There is nothing worse than the fastest car starting on pole and walking away. Make him race for it. And this is not a "rocco" rule as he wont be running weekly anyway in 2012. If at all,thats ytbd
